According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan continues to negotiate with Chelsea regarding the acquisition of Romelu Lukaku.
Recently, Romelu Lukaku completed a season-long loan deal with Inter Milan, with the club hoping to bring the 30-year-old player back for the third time.
The forward scored 14 goals and provided 7 assists in 37 appearances last season. In his two playing spells for the Nerazzurri, Lukaku has scored 78 goals and provided 23 assists in 132 matches.
The Champions League runners-up are trying to secure the permanent signing of the Belgian star, but their initial offer of £23 million was rejected by Chelsea.

Now, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Inter has submitted an improved offer believed to be worth €30 million (£25.7 million). The Serie A representatives are preparing for discussions with Chelsea to reach an agreement as both clubs strive to determine Lukaku’s future.
The former Manchester United striker is keen to stay in European football despite attracting interest from the Arab League. A recent source revealed that Lukaku does not want to return to training with Chelsea before the season begins, as he hopes to part ways with The Blues.
